A Chinatown Engagement Session, Part One

Two people raised a short distance apart in New York’s Chinatown managed to miss each other for years. Then, one night, they happened to meet outside a well-known Baxter Street building, and that spot became the heart of their engagement session.

The photographer spent the shoot wandering the neighbourhood with the pair and some of the locals who joined in. One highlight was being offered dragon eyes, the fruit also called longan. The second half of the gallery followed later that week. See part two.
