A French Couple’s Private New York Elopement

A couple travelled all the way from France for an intimate wedding in New York City. The ceremony, a church mass, was conducted entirely in French, and only three people other than the bride and groom were there, including the photographer.

The pair wanted to experience the city as part of their wedding day. After the vows, the photographer took them to Lincoln Center, then on a train ride and the Staten Island ferry, where the groom got a close look at the Statue of Liberty and later had a tattoo of her done. The day ended at Brooklyn Bridge Park. A gallery of images from the day accompanied the original post. For more, see the blog.
